Information about the authors of these Radio Communication pages

Incase your wondering about how much the authors really do know about the topic they're writing about and maybe a little about who they are then here's some information for you:

David (Roity) is my name, I've written a majority of the content. I have a certificate in Basic Electronics and have operated on CB Radio on & off since 1992. I'm in my late 20's & I have been working in the IT field for the past 7 years and am currently a network manager for the Australian arm of a global Investment management company. My CB Radio setup at home is very simple. I have a Panther 4A 13.8V DC power supply, an Itron aerial & UHF base station aerial. The UHF aerial sees more use on the scanner these days though! I have also succesfully used Station masters & helical whips for 27MHz base operation and both base station and mobile aerials for UHF base operation. I have 2 x 10m runs of RG-213 co-ax running to the aerials.

My friend John has also helped me a bit with some of the non CB related radio communications topics. He also has a certificate in Basic Electronics and is also a licenced Amateur radio operator. His call is VK3TVZ. He can be reached on Packet radio email at VK3TVZ@VK3KSK.#MEL.VIC.AUS.OC (Please note this is NOT an internet email address)

The above information is factual only.
